My Old Ass

“What would you ask your older self?”

Elliott (Maisy Stella) turns eighteen and wants out of her small town as fast as she can go. She eats mushrooms with her friends on her birthday and finds herself sitting across from Older Elliott (Aubrey Plaza), her 39-year-old self, who has plenty to say about what she should and shouldn't do this summer. Megan Park shoots the days with a loose, sun-soaked ease, so the conversations between the two of them feel like part of the afternoon.
