My Penguin Friend

“Inspired by the true story of an extraordinary friendship.”

João (Jean Reno) is a fisherman who has lost more than he can easily say, and he wants only to be left alone with his work. Then he finds a penguin soaked in oil on the shore, and Maria (Adriana Barraza) is among those around him as he begins to clean it. David Schurmann tells the story as it was reported, and João slowly lets the bird into his days.
