My Policeman

“Let it take hold of you.”

Marion (Gina McKee) only wants her quiet marriage left alone, but in the late 1990s her husband Tom (Linus Roache) agrees to take a sick, elderly man named Patrick (Rupert Everett) into their home. Michael Grandage moves between that house and the same people forty years earlier, when Younger Tom (Harry Styles) loved Patrick while homosexuality was still a crime. Tom's job, his marriage and his freedom all depend on keeping that love hidden.
