My Stepmother Is an Alien

“She's gorgeous, and she's never been kissed. Needless to say, she's from another planet.”

Richard Benjamin's 1988 comedy opens on Earth, where Dr. Steven Mills (Dan Aykroyd), a widowed scientist, is raising his daughter Jessie (Alyson Hannigan) on his own. Celeste (Kim Basinger) arrives from a distant planet with a research mission and begins courting him as part of her work. As she settles into his household and falls for both Steven and her new life, her home planet is still running out of time.
