My Uncle Killed a Guy

“We don't choose our relatives. Neither can we choose a great love.”

Éder (Lázaro Ramos) is arrested after confessing to the shooting of a man, and nobody in the family can say why it doesn't add up. His nephew Duca (Darlan Cunha), who is fifteen, is certain Éder is covering for his girlfriend Soraya (Deborah Secco), the dead man's ex-wife. Jorge Furtado sends Duca and two friends off to prove it, and Duca keeps digging because he can't stand to see his uncle lock himself away.
