My Week with Marilyn

Colin Clark (Eddie Redmayne), a young man desperate for a career in films, talks his way onto the London set of The Prince and the Showgirl in 1956 as third assistant director. Simon Curtis follows him through a production where Marilyn Monroe (Michelle Williams) shares scenes with Sir Laurence Olivier (Kenneth Branagh). What she needs from the people around her, and what they want from her, are rarely the same thing.
