My Wife's Husband
Fernand Jouvin (Fernandel) has spent thirteen years in Germany and wants only to get back to his wife and his restaurant. Gilles Grangier sends him home to find that Christiane has made a new life with André Colombey (Bourvil), a gentle Norman chef who cooks everything in butter, where Fernand has only ever used oil. The two men circle each other across the same kitchen, one pot of butter and one bottle of oil on the counter between them.
