My Winnipeg
“The truth is relative.”
Guy Maddin (Darcy Fehr) is a man who has spent his whole life trying to leave Winnipeg and cannot make the trip. He takes a night train through the frozen city, with his mother (Ann Savage) and Mayor Cornish (Louis Negin) crowding the memories that board with him. Guy Maddin directs, and if the city lets him go, he loses the only place he has ever truly known.
