My World

A teacher arrives at the Bayındır house to take on Ela (Beren Saat), who lost her sight and hearing to a severe illness at age two and has grown up wild and hard to hold. Mahir (Uğur Yücel, who also directs) is an unorthodox man who has agreed to teach her while he deals with his own troubles. Her parents, Handan (Ayça Bingöl) and Refik (Turgay Kantürk), watch from the doorway, and the lessons become a struggle between the two of them.
