Mysterious Skin

“Two boys. One can't remember. The other can't forget.”

Neil McCormick (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a teenage hustler who sells himself to men and treats the work as a choice he made. Across town, Brian Lackey (Brady Corbet) is convinced that aliens took him one night as a boy, and he wants to find the others who were taken. Gregg Araki, adapting Scott Heim's novel, moves between the two lives with a lightness that never lets you forget the abuse beneath them.
