Naanum Rowdydhaan

'Pondy' Pandi (Vijay Sethupathi) is a cop's son who wants to be a rowdy, though he has never been in a real fight. Then he meets Kadambari (Nayanthara), a hearing-impaired woman whose parents were murdered by the gangster-politician Killivalavan (R. Parthiban). She wants that man taken down, and the boy who only plays at being tough is the one she asks. Vignesh Shivan sets the fakery of one against the grief of the other, and neither can walk away now.
