Nadine

“The cops want her. The killers want him. They want a divorce. Ain't love grand!”

Nadine Hightower (Kim Basinger), a hairdresser, goes to a photographer's office to take back the risqué pictures she once posed for, and walks in just as an intruder kills him. She drags her estranged husband Vernon (Jeff Bridges) back to the scene, where they find plans for a less than legal construction project. Robert Benton, who wrote the script too, keeps the pair moving fast once the men with guns start coming after them.
