Naked in New York

“Love. Work. Life. Even when you have all the pieces… some assembly is required”

The story opens with a grown Jake Briggs (Eric Stoltz) in a parked car, talking straight to us about his girlfriend Joanne (Mary-Louise Parker) and who a person can turn to when life gets hard. From there it slides back through his parents, his college years, a house across from a squirrel-infested peanut factory, and the start of his writing career. Daniel Algrant follows Jake and Joanne into New York, where his work and the relationship are both still unproven.
