Namak Halaal
Arjun Singh (Amitabh Bachchan), raised by his grandfather Daddu (Om Prakash), is sent from the village to the city to find a new job and a new life. Bhairon steers him toward an interview at a five-star hotel owned by Raja (Shashi Kapoor), and Prakash Mehra drops him into that marble lobby with village manners and a great deal of nerve. The friendship that forms between Arjun and Raja, born of that interview, is what the film is built around.
