Nana
Nana (Catherine Hessling) is a stage actress with little talent and a great deal of nerve, ready to do whatever it takes to get ahead. Count Muffat (Werner Krauss) falls hard for her, and Jean Renoir, in his second full-length film, adapts Zola's 1880 novel as a silent drama. What it shows is how far a man will go for someone who wants only what he can give her.
