Nancy Freeman (Andrea Riseborough) has spent years inventing versions of herself online, and now she starts to believe she was taken from her parents as a child. When she meets Ellen (J. Smith-Cameron) and Leo (Steve Buscemi), whose daughter vanished thirty years ago, her doubts give way to belief she chooses to hold. Christina Choe, in her first feature, stays close on Riseborough's face and lets the camera hold on every small hesitation.
