Naples in Veils

Adriana (Giovanna Mezzogiorno), a medical examiner in Naples, spends a night with Andrea (Alessandro Borghi), a younger man she has only just met, and the morning after leaves her with questions the facts cannot answer. Ferzan Özpetek sets her love and a violent crime in a city where superstition and reason sit in the same rooms. Adriana moves through Naples carrying that unexplained night, and the city keeps its veils drawn around her.
