“There's a reason why I can see in dreams”
Kokone Morikawa (Mitsuki Takahata) is supposed to be studying for her final exams, but she keeps falling asleep, in class and at home, and each time she lands in the same dream. There, a squad of motorized contraptions fights against magic, in a world that sits close to her real one. Kenji Kamiyama sets it in Japan in 2020, days before the Tokyo Olympics, and the dream is where Kokone may find the truth about her father and her past.
