Nate and Hayes

“He's a scoundrel... A hero... A lover of danger and the last of the adventurers... This is the story of Bully Hayes!”

Nathaniel Williamson (Michael O'Keefe) is a young man sailing for an island mission with his fiancée Sophie (Jenny Seagrove), until the ship's captain, the roguish Bully Hayes (Tommy Lee Jones), takes a liking to her. Ferdinand Fairfax shot this South Pacific adventure on location in Fiji and New Zealand. When the slave trader Ben Pease (Max Phipps) carries Sophie off, Nate has to join Hayes, a man he has every reason to distrust.
