Dylan (Charlie Plummer) is 21, pouring concrete on construction jobs in rural New Mexico, and what he wants is a life that feels like his own. He finds it among queer ranchers and rodeo performers, where Sky (Eve Lindley) and Pepe (Rene Rosado) take him in. Luke Gilford's debut follows Dylan into this chosen family, and it stays open what that family can hold on to.
