“Yule crack up!”

Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) wants one perfect family Christmas, and he has the plans to prove it. His wife Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo) and their kids Audrey (Juliette Lewis) and Rusty (Johnny Galecki) get the house ready while the relatives arrive, loud and uninvited, and Chechik keeps Clark's bad luck piling up in the background. Clark keeps his head up because the Christmas bonus is coming, and Ellen is the one who has to live inside that hope with him.
