Nativity!

“This show needs a miracle.”

Paul Maddens (Martin Freeman) is a primary school teacher who has no love left for Christmas, and he is handed the job of directing the school's Nativity play. Rattled by a rival's boasting, he claims his ex-girlfriend is bringing Hollywood to the show, with help from Mr. Poppy (Marc Wootton), the classroom assistant. Debbie Isitt let her cast improvise, and the film holds that a little goodwill, and a lot of small children in tea towels, can carry a whole town.
