“The war has begun.”

In a dystopian future city where cyborgs fight as military commandos and serve as companions, the machines are built to last three years. R (Yoo Ji-tae) is a cop who hunts the renegade ones, and his own cyborg, Ria (Seo Rin), is running out of time. Min Byung-chun follows R into the black market, where her artificial mind might be moved into a human host, and the film keeps asking what a person owes the one he loves.
