Navajo Joe

“Navajo revenge slashes ...burns ...ravages the screen!”

One man walks out of a massacre that killed his tribe and his wife, and the bandits who did it do not yet know he is alive. Joe (Burt Reynolds) comes for them one at a time, starting with the gang led by Mervyn "Vee" Duncan (Aldo Sambrell). Estella (Nicoletta Machiavelli) and Reverend Rattigan (Fernando Rey) are among the people caught in the gang's reach. Sergio Corbucci shoots the dry country in hard, flat light and keeps the camera moving.
