“One Man. One Day. One Chance.”

Shivaji Rao (Anil Kapoor), a television cameraman in Maharashtra, wants to ask the people running the state why nothing they promise ever gets done. During a live interview, Chief Minister Balraj Chauhan (Amrish Puri) hands him a challenge: take the job himself for a single day. Shankar films that day as a rush of orders, files and angry crowds, and keeps the pace hard enough that Shivaji barely gets to sit down.
