Nazarín

“A Motion Picture For Ever…”

Father Nazario (Francisco Rabal) is a priest in a poor Mexican community who gives away what little he has and expects nothing back. Luis Buñuel sets his plain kindness against the people around him, women like Beatriz (Marga López) and Andara (Rita Macedo), who take what he offers and do not return it. Nazario keeps walking the roads and answering their trouble with the same mild patience.
