“...pray for daylight.”

Caleb Colton (Adrian Pasdar) is a farm boy in a small Oklahoma town who meets Mae (Jenny Wright) one night, and the girl turns out to belong to a band of vampires. Kathryn Bigelow puts them in stolen cars on the highway, with Jesse Hooker (Lance Henriksen) leading and Severen (Bill Paxton) riding along. Caleb is pulled into their company against his will, and the clan keeps its own rules about who stays.
