Ned Kelly

“The British Empire branded them as outlaws. The oppressed called them heroes.”

Ned Kelly (Heath Ledger) wants to be left alone with his family, but Constable Fitzpatrick lies about a confrontation and puts the blame on him. With a record reward on his head, Ned takes to the bush with his brother Dan and two friends, including Joseph Byrne (Orlando Bloom). Gregor Jordan follows the gang as Superintendent Francis Hare (Geoffrey Rush) arrests their relatives, and every day in hiding costs the Kellys more of what they are trying to protect.
