Neerja

“Fear Gave Her Courage”

In 1986, Pan Am Flight 73 sits on the ground in Karachi, and aboard it Neerja Bhanot (Sonam Kapoor Ahuja) is the head purser, a young woman from a Mumbai family. Ram Madhvani follows her from the hours before the flight to the moment armed hijackers, led by Khalil (Jim Sarbh), take over the aircraft. Neerja is the one crew member the 359 passengers can turn to, and she has to decide what she owes them.
