“Evil gets rebooted”

In present-day Australia, Howard North (Ben O'Toole) spends his days emptying septic tanks, until he learns he belongs to a secret order of necromancers who hunt demons hiding inside the internet. Those demons take people's souls through smartphone apps, and Finnegan (Monica Bellucci) is the one who trains him to fight back. Kiah Roache-Turner puts Howard and his best friend Luther (David Wenham) on the same side, two men learning the work together.
