Neo Ned
“Love is not a race.”
Ned (Jeremy Renner) grew up wanting to be his father, a two-bit crook who spent most of his life in jail. With no family of his own, Ned falls in with the Aryan Brotherhood, and then he ends up in a mental hospital. There he is drawn to Rachael (Gabrielle Union), a young black patient who believes Adolf Hitler was reincarnated in her. Van Fischer builds the film around the two of them in that ward, a comedy and a love story set where nobody expects either.
