Ricky (Mario Casas) grew up in a brothel and wants one thing, which is for his mother Pura (Ángela Molina) to look at him with some respect. His plan is to open a brothel of his own, with the help of two buddies who are no use to him, Angelito (Vicente Romero Sánchez) among them. Paco Cabezas makes it a rowdy crime story, but underneath it is a son trying to be seen by his mother.
