Neruda
“A renowned poet. An unknown inspector. A legendary manhunt.”
Inspector Óscar Peluchonneau (Gael García Bernal) wants one thing in Chile in 1948: to be the man who arrests the poet Pablo Neruda (Luis Gnecco). Neruda, stripped of his immunity as a senator, goes underground with his wife, the painter Delia del Carril (Mercedes Morán). Pablo Larraín follows the chase through a country that cannot decide whether to jail its famous poet or quote him, with Peluchonneau drawn closer to the man he hunts.
