Neue Vahr Süd

Frank Lehmann (Frederick Lau) is twenty, still living with his parents in a Bremen high-rise, and in 1980 he gets drafted even though his friends insist he is not the type. When he comes home from his first week at the barracks, his father has turned his room into a TV repair shop, so he rents the walk-through room in a commune. Hermine Huntgeburth follows him as he goes back and forth each week between the army and the punks, and he fits into neither.
