Never Die Alone

“No King Rules Forever”

Paul (David Arquette), a reporter with a book to write, gets his chance when the diary of King David (DMX), a drug kingpin, ends up in his hands. Ernest R. Dickerson, adapting Donald Goines's 1974 novel, has Paul read the pages and watch a dealer's rise and fall play out around him. What the diary keeps showing is how a man who runs a city's nightlife can still die with no one beside him.
