Never Rarely Sometimes Always

“Her journey. Her choice.”

Two teenage girls board a bus out of rural Pennsylvania for New York City, carrying little more than a bag of cash and a plan to get Autumn (Sidney Flanigan) the medical help she needs after an unintended pregnancy. Her cousin Skylar (Talia Ryder) goes along without being asked. Eliza Hittman keeps both girls in plain, close view, and Autumn says very little about what she is carrying through each new city block.
