In Austria, a night in 2019 finds seventeen-year-old Jakob (Simon Frühwirth) hunting for a way to feel alive, though his anxiety attacks keep sending him back into virtual worlds. In a cam chat he meets Kristjan (Paul Forman), nine years older, and Gregor Schmidinger follows the two of them into a strange journey toward the wounds each one carries.
