“Kick some kut”

The layoffs hit five friends in Maaskantje at once, and Gerrie (Tim Haars) and Richard (Huub Smit) decide they will stop paying for anything. Steffen Haars and Flip van der Kuil, who also plays Barrie, bring the characters over from their Dutch television series. What drives the film is a small town that would rather fight the world than lose a single friend to it.
