New Police Story

“Failures and suffering make a real hero.”

A gang of thrill-seeking punks kills Senior Inspector Chan Kwok Wing's (Jackie Chan) entire unit, and he spends the aftermath drunk, disgraced and still alive. Benny Chan sends him after the gang's ruthless leader, Joe Kwan (Daniel Wu), with a new rookie partner, Frank Cheng Siu Fung (Nicholas Tse Ting-fung), who carries a troubled past of his own. The two start out as a washed-up cop and a stranger he never asked for, each one the other's way back.
