“No possession is sacred. No secret is safe.”

Fox (Christopher Walken) is a corporate raider who trades in poached talent, and he has set his sights on a scientific genius employed by a rival company. He and his partner X (Willem Dafoe) hire Sandii (Asia Argento), a chanteuse, to draw the man away from his employer and his family. Abel Ferrara, adapting William Gibson's story, leaves the two men and the woman they have recruited exposed to the very corporations they are working to cheat.
