Newsies

“A thousand voices. A single dream. A sing-along reality.”

When Joseph Pulitzer (Robert Duvall) raises the price the newsboys pay for their papers, Jack Kelly (Christian Bale) and the other kids hawking headlines on New York's streets decide to stop selling. Kenny Ortega, a choreographer by trade, stages their strike as song and dance, with Alan Menken's twelve original numbers. The story is about boys with no parents and no power finding out what they can do once they stand together.
