Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

“Every night has a soundtrack.”

Nick (Michael Cera) plays bass in a band of his friends and can't stop thinking about Tris, the ex who dumped him, so he keeps making her mixtapes anyway. At a club, Norah (Kat Dennings), a friend of Tris, asks him to pretend to be her boyfriend for five minutes. Peter Sollett follows the two through a single night as they hunt for a secret show and for Norah's drunken friend Caroline (Ari Graynor).
