Night Falls

Marcos Arizmendi (Pedro Armendáriz) plays jai-alai for a living and takes women the same way, seducing them and moving on once he's finished. Roberto Gavaldón follows him through the nightlife of 1952 Mexico, where Sara (Anita Blanch) and Rebeca (Rebeca Iturbide) are among the people his habits touch. Someone has decided that Marcos is owed a debt, and the longer he keeps winning, the more he has to lose.
