“What kind of a thing is it?!”

Kurt Ingston (Ralph Morgan) is a wealthy recluse who lives in a desolate mansion in the swamps, left crippled by the doctors who treated him. He invites those same doctors to his house, and one by one they begin to meet horrible deaths. Ford Beebe keeps his guests and Rolf (Bela Lugosi), the butler, shut in together, with no telling who will be next.
