Night Moves

“Maybe he would find the girl... maybe he would find himself.”

In 1975 Los Angeles, Harry Moseby (Gene Hackman) is a private detective and former pro football player, taking what looks like a routine missing person job. A former Hollywood actress wants her runaway daughter Delly (Melanie Griffith) found, and Arthur Penn follows Harry to Florida as the trail runs through stuntmen and a suspicious mechanic. Harry wants answers, but every answer opens another question, and the harder he looks, the less he understands.
