Night Must Fall

“Amazing! Different! Unique!”

Danny (Robert Montgomery) wants a place in the Bramson household, and he gets it when Mrs. Bramson (May Whitty), a wealthy widow, summons her maid's fiancé to find out why the girl has been so distracted. Her niece Olivia (Rosalind Russell) takes to him, then starts to suspect he had a hand in the disappearance of a local woman. Richard Thorpe keeps the story inside the widow's house, with Danny always in the next room.
