Night of the Comet

“They came. They Shopped. They saved the world!”

Regina (Catherine Mary Stewart) is a Valley Girl who wakes up after the comet passes to find most of Los Angeles gone to red dust. Her younger sister Samantha (Kelli Maroney) is alive, and so are the cannibal zombies and a group of scientists who are hunting the survivors. Thom Eberhardt sets the whole thing in a sun-bleached, empty city, two sisters walking through it in a quiet that nobody is left to break.
