Night of the Pencils

“They were young students. They were raped, tortured, and shot.”

In September 1976, under Argentina's military dictatorship, a group of teenage students in La Plata start taking away the people who go missing around them. Pablo (Alejo Garcia Pintos) and Claudia (Vita Escardó) are among them, campaigning for a reduced bus fare. Héctor Olivera, working from the book by María Seoane and Héctor Ruiz Núñez, follows Pablo as he realizes the adults in charge have decided those students are the danger.
