Night on Earth

“Five taxis. Five cities. One night.”

Corky (Winona Ryder) drives a cab in Los Angeles and has no interest in the life that her passenger, Victoria Snelling (Gena Rowlands), keeps offering her. Jim Jarmusch tells five stories on one night, set in Los Angeles and four other cities, each with its own driver and its own fare. In every cab, two strangers who would never otherwise meet sit a few feet apart and start talking.
