“Everything you fear is under the surface.”

Ray Waller (Wyatt Russell), a former baseball player forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness, wants a house where his body can heal and his kids can play. He finds it in a new place with a backyard pool, which he sees as therapy for himself and fun for his wife Eve (Kerry Condon) and their two children. Bryce McGuire builds the story around Ray's hope, and the water starts to claim him.
